About the Artist

Jennifer Beckett's passion is painting. Whether in a wall mural or on canvas, she combines color and texture to express moment and emotion. A little bit figurative, a little bit abstract, her recent works dance to their own, stylized harmony.

While listening to all genres of music, Jennifer allows her brush to take over her consciousness in rhythm. Creating in her Murfreesboro, TN home-based studio, she depicts moments of wonder to transcend the viewer from the realities of life.

Inspired by colorists such as Franz Marc, Jennifer has spent much of her career experimenting with the effects of color. Self-taught, the artist feels only a life led learning and being creative is one worth living.

Jennifer Beckett has published illustrations, painted murals, and had canvases commissioned during her career. Her work is currently on display at The Art House in Murfreesboro, TN.
